Glass Details:

Regular Glass:

Regular Glass countertops are available in thicknesses from ½” – 1”.
The natural color of the glass is slightly green, due to the iron content.
Low-Iron Glass, also known as “Water White”, “Starfire” and “Diamante” is available. This has very little green color when viewed through the edge. We recommend this type of glass when back painting.
A cantilever, or overhang, is possible. However, the length is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Stainless Steel brackets and offsets are available to support our glass countertops.

Fusion Glass:

- Fusion glass is multiple layers of ¼” glass thermoformed in a kiln and is available from ½” to 5” thick.
- This type of glass has a texture on the back due to the kiln process. Various standard texture styles are available.
- Fusion Glass is also available in seven different colors; see our Color Options section for more information.
- Edges available for Fusion Glass include textured, polished and beveled.

This glass has structural properties, allowing large spans and overhangs.

What does it look like?

Glass countertops offer a modern look commonly used for bar tops, countertops, and bathroom vanities.
Available in two styles, regular and fusion, glass countertops are durable and easy to maintain.
Regular glass countertops can be sandblasted for texture or back-painted to any custom color.
Fusion glass is available in a variety of colors, textures, and thickness.

What can I expect?

Fusion glass is formed by thermoforming ¼” layers of glass in a kiln, meaning that the texture and color are built into the glass, so there is no danger of it chipping or wearing away.
Small scratches are to be expected, but will not affect the structural integrity of the countertop, and can be polished out if necessary.
