Verdicrete countertops are available in a honed finish. We have found this finish to be the most durable and stain resistant over years of testing.
The honed concrete finish is smooth to the touch but preserves the raw look of concrete. There is no added sealer or applied topical finish. You will not have to worry about the finish cracking and peeling over time.
This finish makes Brooks Custom’s concrete countertops durable and easy to maintain. The finish is highly resistant to damage from water, heat and stains. We do recommend that any spills be wiped up as soon as possible to avoid anything setting on the countertop. Should any marks or stains appear on the concrete, they can generally be buffed out with a Scotch-Brite pad and re-oiling the top. In general, the concrete should be oiled seasonally, about four times a year. This protects the finish and maintains the stain resistant properties of the concrete.
