A look at some of the popular trends from the NKBA tradeshow.
Like many people in the kitchen and bath industry, we visited the annual Kitchen and Bath Industry Show this past week in Orlando, FL. While we didn’t exhibit at this year’s show, we took the time to walk the floor and chat with colleagues in the industry and to see what the biggest trends are for 2017 in countertops and furniture.
LIVE EDGE IS REALLY HOT!
Live edge wood countertops and furniture are a hot and rising trend that we’ve been seeing our showroom for the past few years. This year live edge was all over the show, proving that this trend is showing no signs of slowing down!

WOOD SINKS
Another product line that is catching on in the rest of the industry is wood sinks. We saw a few dealers displaying their wood sinks at the show, and we’re excited to see what they do with them throughout the year.

Wood countertops are anything but boring! The products on display at this year’s show proved that wood is a versatile material that can be used to create unique products that will add layers of style to your home. The dealers this year were experimenting with patterns, construction, and mixing materials that elevate show how wood countertops can be used with a little imagination.

More dealers are embracing the idea of using recycled and repurposed wood pieces for countertops, as evidenced by this great waterfall leg island countertop that was on display at the show.
