Pewter Finish Options

Brooks Custom’s pewter products are available in matte pewter finish, patina finish, mirror polished finish or hammered finish.

We do not apply any sealers or coatings to our pewter products. We prefer to allow pewter’s living finish to age and develop its signature patina over time. Pewter countertops and surfaces will react with the substances they contact, and you will see light and dark areas, depending on the use of the surface. Over time, these areas will blend together to form a unique pattern of use.

Pewter’s finish is easy to maintain. Day to day cleaning can be done with Windex or any other non-abrasive household cleaner. For mirror-polish pewter, you may want to use a polishing agent like Stainless Steel Magic, to maintain the shine of the countertop.
