Zinc Finish Options

Below is a chart of the standard zinc finish options for all of Brooks Custom’s zinc products. Zinc products are available in three standard finish; matte, mirror-polish, and patina finish.

Zinc is a reactive metal that will develop a patina and age over time. The finish will continue to evolve throughout the lifetime of the surface and create its own unique pattern of use.

Brooks Custom does not use any sealers or lacquers on its metal products, we prefer to allow the zinc to age naturally.

Both matte and patina finish zinc are low-maintenance and easy to care for. Day-to-day cleaning can be done with Windex or any other non-abrasive household cleaning product.

Mirror-polish zinc can be more labor intensive, as fingerprints and slight scratches will show more prominently than on matte or patina finish zinc tops. This finish will require frequent polishing to keep it looking new.
