News From KBIS 2020 The Latest in Range Hood Designs

Last week Brooks Custom’s owner, Richard Brooks, visited KBIS 2020 in Las Vegas to stay up to date on the latest trends in the kitchen and bath industry. One of the most interesting things he found is the continued expansion and emphasis on custom and designer range hoods. This echoes the trends we’re seeing in our own shop.

Among the many range hood styles on display at the trade show was this designer custom hood by SMEG. This design takes a classic hood shape and turns it into a work of art with a custom paint color and intricate design. This bold range hood is paired against a bronze backsplash here but would make a great statement against a more subdued background.

CUSTOM HOODS FOR ALL DECORS

Obviously, the ornate and bold range hoods on display at KBIS 2020 are not for everyone. However, this does not preclude anyone from designing a custom range hood for themselves.

Over the past two or so years, the demand for Brooks Custom’s range hoods, both solid metal and artisan cast, has increased considerably.  The range hoods we are producing are a mixture of classic slant front style to more ornate decorative styles – there is a range hood for everyone.

Here is a sampling of the range hoods we are creating:

Glossy Black artisan cast range hood with stainless steel strapping and brass pot rail

Patina Finish Zinc range hood with polished stainless steel strapping.

Concave artisan cast zinc range hood with matching rivets along the bottom band.

As you can see, there are a number of options and finishes available when considering a custom range hood for your renovation project. If you are interested in any of the styles you see here, others on our website or inspirational photos you see online send the images along with the dimensions for your project to quotes@brookscustom.com.
