How are Artisan Cast Hoods Made?
- Artisan cast metal hoods are made using the same metal finishing process as our Bistro Collection countertops, bar tops, and furniture.
- We apply the metal coating to a wood frame, which we engineer to fit the vent hood insert of your choice.
- Also, if you have a stock range hood, we can coat it with our Artisan Cast metals to quickly create a show-stopping focal piece.
- We do not cut corners with design details! All strapping is done with 1/4″ metal and rivets are all done in solid metal.

We offer a wide variety of finish options, custom enamel colors, and design options to help you create the hood you’ve always wanted at an affordable price point. Additionally, artisan cast allows for intricate shapes and curves.
Notably, artisan cast range metal hoods take just six-eight weeks following approved shop drawings. As such, the production time is half that of our solid metal range hoods.
