The main project featured here is the wide plank bar top made for Kitchen 21. At 100 feet long, this bar top is one of the longest in New York City. The transformative aspect of this job is it being part of the complete restoration of the Childs Restaurant building on the Coney Island Boardwalk. To fit in with the theme of the restoration, the bar top needed to be modern but also evoke the traditional architecture of the space.

The dark stain on the walnut top is a modern touch that is balanced by the classic edge profile and bronze banding along the front bar edge. Running the length of the long and spacious restaurant, the bar and bar top is a stunning focal point that will look great and in style for years to come.

The other featured project is a unique countertop we made for a residential bar.

The bar top has a polished zinc top that is blended with a matching artisan cast zinc ‘Allentown‘ edge profile. The finish of the top and the edge profile create a nice contrast against the rustic accents in the room. This blend of styles transforms a standard home bar into one with a unique transitional aesthetic.
