Our craftsmen commit to making sure that your countertop meets our quality standards. Before we begin fabrication, the boards for each top are hand-selected from our inventory of high-quality hardwoods. These boards range in width from five to twelve inches (5"-12") and are matched for an even and satisfying rendition.

- We also offer custom color matching. You may provide us with a sample as a reference to match.
Our durable Marine Finish is waterproof and requires the least amount of maintenance in the wood countertop industry.
- Notably, this proprietary blend of oils is a permanent finish that does not require refinishing.
- Not only is our surface is highly resistant to water damage, but it also is resistant to staining.
- We recommend using Lemon Pledge, Weiman's Furniture Cream, or any non-abrasive household cleaner for daily cleaning.
- If necessary, a service technician can repair the Marine Finish on-site.
- Delivered to you direct from our factory woodshop.
- In the event of damage, we can schedule a service technician to visit your location and repair the countertop.

Below you will find our most requested edge grain edge profiles. This chart represents a variety of edge profiles, from a modern eased square edge to more decorative and traditional ogee edge profiles. Some of the larger profiles, (double ogee, F, K) are only available on thicker countertops, starting at 2 1/4" thick. Finish options allow you to customize your wood countertop beyond the stain and edge profile. These options include antiquing, distressing levels, and levels of hand-hewn texture.
Before fabrication, samples will be produced for your approval to confirm the finish and design options are in line with the desired look for the countertop.
Our Premium Wide Plank Countertops are made with hand-selected, high-quality hardwoods, measuring 5"-12" in width. Planks run the entire length of the countertop with no butt joints. When selecting boards, only seven percent of the tree is used to ensure that there will be no knots or sapwood and that the color and grain are consistent throughout the top. - All Wood and Butcher Block countertops come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
- Brooks Custom will repair or replace, at its option, any product determined to be faulty due to manufacturing defects.
- Products not installed by Brooks Custom must be returned to the Brooks Custom showroom.
- Incidental work or adjacent materials are not under warranty under this coverage. This is standard in most of the home improvement industry.
- All shipped wood countertops must be removed from their crates within 30 days of delivery. Any claims for shipping damage must be made within that time.
- Sales are final on all finished products left in our showroom for over 90 days.
- This warranty is not transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.
- We ensure that all wood being used is purchased only from government licensed loggers.
- We refrain from working with some imported woods, such as Honduran and Brazilian Mahogany, which are environmentally irresponsible and whose harvesting contributes to the deforestation of the Amazon Rainforest. Instead, we prefer to work with African Mahogany; this attractive alternative is abundant and harvested with U.S. approval.
- "Repurposed" woods such as Antique Heart Pine and Antiqued Chestnut are re-used from old barns floors.
- “Fast growth" woods such as Lyptus and Bamboo are an excellent green alternative.
- We avoid using finishes using lacquer, polyester, or conversion varnish as they pollute the air when applied.
- Look for finishes that are oil-based such as tung oil, which has few thinning agents and is among the lowest VOC rating during application. Tung Oil is non-toxic, food prep safe, and a very resilient finish. It can also be easily renewed using finish restoring oil.
- When making wood countertops, all wood cut-offs can be repurposed or recycled., never going to waste.
